Post Adoption Support

We help you through the adoption process, but our services don’t stop there. We provide ongoing support to you and your family, whether it is two weeks down the road or two years. We are happy to assist you in obtaining services or information, and can refer you for any needs we are unable to meet directly.  If any unexpected medical needs arise down the road, we will help you apply for Medical Subsidy, which offers supplemental insurance for qualifying adopted children.

We can also connect you to a Post Adoption Resource Center (PARC), which offers crisis intervention services, case management, referral services, education and support groups to adoptive families.

Additional Post Adoption Services

Post-Adoption offers ongoing support, education, and counseling to all involved in the adoption circle – birth parents, adoptive families, and adoptees of all ages. Services range from parenting skills to grief and loss counseling. Monthly support groups are open to the public. The program also provides search and reunion services for those who either made adoption plans in the past or were themselves adopted through CCWC.
