Newborn Adoption

Through a voluntary and open approach, CSSW places infants for domestic (U.S.) adoption. Counseling and services for birth parents before, during, and after the adoption process are also provided.

Call 734.971.9781, ext. 322. Services are offered to adults ages 18 and older, of any family size and marital status. To be eligible, participants must be a resident of one of the following counties: Branch, Calhoun, Clinton, Genesee, Gratiot, Hillsdale, Ingham, Ionia, Jackson, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Saginaw; Shiawassee, St. Clair, Washtenaw, or Wayne. Fees vary depending on services provided. Please refer to the Adoption Process Packet on the right side of this page for more information.

In addition to the materials on this website, we offer monthly information meetings designed to answer in detail every question you have about adoption.

Safe Delivery CSSW is a child placing agency under the Michigan Safe Delivery Law for all lower peninsula counties in Michigan.
