Deputy District Attorney Paul Greenwood has been practicing law for thirty eight years. Since starting the Elder Abuse Prosecution Unit of the San Diego Prosecutor’s Office in January 1996, he has been involved in the prosecution of over six hundred felony elder abuse cases. He has completed ten elder abuse murder trials and obtained a first-degree murder conviction in nine of the ten. He was the recipient of the National Adult Protective Services Award in November of 2010 for “collaboration & leadership in the prosecutorial field.”
SAFE Presentation
This presentation about the Success After Financial Exploitation (SAFE) program will follow Paul Greenwood’s discussion. Participants will learn more about the critical research on decision-making conducted by Dr. Peter Lichtenberg, Director of Wayne State University, Institute of Gerontology.
