Placement of Children

CCWC works to place children from various counties in Michigan.  We strive to match each child with a family that can meet their psychological, emotional, mental and social needs. The adoption worker will assess the family’s ability to provide an environment conducive to the well-being of that child. Families who wish to see the children currently available for adoption can visit mare.org or adoptuskids.org and submit an inquiry to learn more.

If a child is matched with your family, you will be invited to attend an information sharing session. This is an opportunity for you, the adoption worker, the child’s workers, foster parents, and any other relevant persons to review information about the child. Collaboratively, we will assess whether it is a good fit and discuss your readiness to move forward. If you decide to proceed, the adoption worker will orchestrate a visit schedule and transition plan with you.
