ADA specializes in working with men to stop their use of abuse or battering. The purpose of ADA is to end domestic violence and abuse in our community. ADA is a program of Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County. We offer services on a non-denominational basis, so we work with people of all, or no, religious affiliations.
Understanding domestic violence begins with feminist theory which views domestic violence as a form of political, social, economic, sexual and physical oppression of women individually and as a group.
Domestic violence must be dealt with comprehensively. For more information, please visit the Intervention Strategies page found under professionals.
