Newborn Adoption

Through a voluntary and open approach, CSSW places infants for domestic (U.S.) adoption. Counseling for birth parents with services before, during and after the adoption process are also provided.

To Get Started:

Call 734.971.9781, ext. 322. Services are offered for adults ages 18 and older, of any family size and marital status. To be eligible, participants must be a resident of one of the following counties: Branch; Calhoun; Clinton; Genesee; Gratiot; Hillsdale; Ingham; Ionia; Jackson; Lapeer; Lenaweee; Livingston; Macomb; Monroe; Oakland; Saginaw; Shiawassee; St. Clair; Washtenaw; or Wayne.

In addition to the materials on this website, we offer monthly information meetings designed to answer in detail every question you have about adoption. If you are interested in attending a meeting, please click this link to submit your registration.

For information on infant adoptions, please call 734.971.9781, ext. 322.  Information meetings are held monthly.

For information on adoption of children (ages 2 years and older), please call: 517.782.2754.   

Cost:

Fees vary depending on services provided. Please refer to the Adoption Process Packet on the right side of this page for more information.
