Volunteer

Currently, the WCAC is looking for volunteers to staff the WCAC waiting room. Duties include greeting families when they arrive at the Center, answering the phones, and supervision of children while the caretakers meet with WCAC staff. All volunteers will receive training on a variety of child sexual abuse issues, WCAC policies, and other topics specific to the volunteer duties.

Potential volunteers must be 18 years or older, free of any misdemeanor or felony criminal convictions, and able to work with a diverse population.

If you are interested in volunteering at the WCAC, or want to learn more about the volunteer opportunities, please call 734.544.2925 or email Martine Highet at [email protected].
