Families First

Families First provides four to six weeks of intensive, in-home crisis intervention services to families impacted by child abuse and/or neglect, and who have been referred through either Children's Protective Services or the Department of Foster Care of the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (MDHHS). On-call 24 hours a day, social workers provide clinical services as well as material assistance. This two-pronged approach is essential to ensure home stability and the safety of all family members.
