SUBSTANCE ABUSE THERAPIST – WASHTENAW COUNTY
Immediate openings for full and part-time substance abuse therapists for outpatient and/or prison-based substance abuse treatment programs in Washtenaw County. Position provides direct services to incarcerated and/or post incarcerated clients through individual and group therapies.
Seeking highly qualified, certified and/or licensed Bachelor’s, Masters or Doctoral level substance abuse clinicians:
- Minimum two years post-degree, professional, clinical experience treating substance use disorders and facilitating substance abuse treatment groups.

FOSTER CARE SUPERVISOR
Catholic Social Services is expanding its child welfare programming and is in need of a qualified professional to supervise the foster care case managers and foster care licensing staff. This is a full time position with a generous sign-on bonus for a candidate with experience and CWTI training. TEAM LEADER – JACKSON AND HILLSDALE COUNTIES
Part-time position available for a Team Leader with the Family Assistance Program. Position assists with supervision of Parenting Time and Family Assistance Workers in both Jackson and Hillsdale counties. Responsibilities include carrying a small caseload of families, assisting with training and shadowing of new workers, assisting in ensuring timely completion and delivery of paperwork, assisting with completion of payroll time sheets for all workers, and tracking the opening and closing dates for all referrals.
Must have High School Diploma; Associate’s degree, BA or BS preferred, with two years’ experience working with families with issues such as parenting, child care, household management, nutrition and budgeting. Must have proven ability to professionally engage with a diverse group of clients and families, knowledge of community resources in Jackson County, flexibility in work schedule, and ability to meet with families during non-traditional hours. Must reside in or near Jackson or Hillsdale County.

CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER SUPERVISOR
Part-time position available with benefits. The clinical social work supervisor provides a direct service to clients in the Family Assessment Clinic and supervises graduate students who are interns at the Family Assessment Clinic. The Family Assessment Clinic (FAC) is a program that addresses issues of child maltreatment by conducting family assessments, treatment, and case record reviews. This work involves matters of a highly sensitive and extremely confidential nature. The clinical social work supervisor is responsible for supervision and case consultation involving interns and managing and maintaining client case records and communications. This position also includes providing training in clinical documentation, evidence-based/informed therapeutic interventions and best practices in child welfare.
Requires an MSW degree or higher. Must be a fully Licensed Masters Social Worker in the State of Michigan. Knowledge and experience working with underserved populations impacted by child maltreatment issues and training on trauma-informed treatment modalities are also requirements of this position.

HOUSING COORDINATOR – JACKSON, LENAWEE AND HILLSDALE
Position available as the Housing Coordinator to work with participants of the Offender Success program in Jackson, Lenawee and Hillsdale Counties. The Housing Coordinator will actively collaborate with the Community Coordinator, CSSW program staff, field agents, local landlords and other local agencies to effectively coordinate a continuum of housing and stability services for parolees in the Transitional Housing program. Community outreach and data tracking will be required in this position. Goals are to increase client stability in the community and improve client outcomes. Non-traditional hours are required.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in human services; at least three years experience
providing direct services to returning offenders and/or low income and homeless populations. Experience providing housing coordination/support services in Jackson, Lenawee or Hillsdale Counties. Position requires scheduling flexibility, primarily working weekdays with some evenings and weekend responsibilities. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to transport clients in personal vehicle. Knowledge of Jackson, Lenawee and Hillsdale County resources and geography also required.

VICTIM SERVICES MONITOR
Exciting opportunity within the Family Time Program for two full-time Victim Services Monitors. Position will observe and monitor supervised parenting sessions and supervised exchanges to facilitate positive, healthy, safe and appropriate interactions between non-custodial parents and their children in a safe, supervised setting that respects the rights and responsibilities of all parties. The Victim Services Monitor will provide services to families where there is an identified victim of crime and/or history of domestic violence.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or other human services-related field, plus 3-5 years’ experience working with families, or a Master’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or other human services-related field plus at least one year experience working with families and/or with survivors of domestic violence. Must have experience working with families with diverse backgrounds. Experience in supervised visitation work, family court work, working with victims of domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, sexual assault, sexual abuse, harassment and/or stalking and work with individuals with trauma histories preferred. Must be available evenings and weekends.
