Everyone loves a great party, and the very best parties celebrate people and things we love! Each year, Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County hosts Brunching for a Cause to do just that.
Friends, supporters, and staff members will join on Sunday, October 6 recognize, celebrate, and support the mission of the organization, which has offered holistic, high quality supportive services to the Washtenaw County community for 65 years.
The annual gathering, which is CSSW’s only fundraising event, will be held on from 1:00-3:30 at Travis Pointe Country Club. Guests will enjoy an elegant brunch, desserts at table, and mimosas, wine, and beer. In addition, a silent auction will be held, with a variety of items available to bid on. All proceeds will benefit the mission of CSSW.
This year’s event will be held in honor of Fr. Brendan Walsh, pastor of St. Joseph Church in Dexter. Fr. Brendan has been a champion of CSSW’s mission for nearly 20 years, including serving on the Board for 19 years. Bishop Earl Boyea will offer prayer; also featured will be stories of how our beautiful mission has made a difference not only in the persons we serve, but in those serving.
We look forward to seeing many faithful friends, and to meeting new friends of our mission– including you!
We hope you will join us for this fun, meaningful event– it won’t be the same without you! Learn more, register, and donate here. I look forward to celebrating with you!
May God continue to bless you;
