Families First provides four to six weeks of intensive, in-home crisis intervention services to families impacted by child abuse and/or neglect and who have been referred to the program through Child Protective Services or the Department of Human Services. On-call 24 hours a day, social workers provide clinical services as well as material assistance. This two-pronged approach is essential to ensure home stability and the safety of all family members.
