HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT
Full-time position available coordinating and executing processes within the Agency’s Human Resources department including recruitment, new hire orientation, record keeping, HRIS data input and maintenance, and other activities needed to support the Agency’s personnel objectives and programs. The HR Assistant is responsible for welcoming staff and visitors requesting HR assistance and responding or directing as appropriate. 

Required qualifications include a high school diploma plus 1-3 years experience with human resource functions including recruiting activities, on-boarding, and personnel/HR file maintenance.  Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must possess excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to handle confidential matters with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

DAILY LIVING COACH 
Part-time positions available, with possibility of full-time in the future. The Daily Living Coach assists program residents in their homes with daily chores, tasks, etc. to help them develop independent living skills. Requirements include a combination of relevant education and experience working with individuals with special needs. Qualified candidates must be comfortable working with special needs populations and possess excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Contingent staff will fill in for absent staff, hours will vary and may range from 6-18 per week.

DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Part-time position available for flexible and dynamic individual with development background. Duties include tracking and timely entering of gifts including but not limited to cash, in-kind, online, stock, private grants, and legacy gifts.  Responsible for ensuring integrity of donor data using Raiser’s Edge donor software, and generating various monthly and ad hoc queries and reports for development directors, finance department, and board members. Create donor acknowledgement letters and other correspondence, create and edit materials as requested. Also responsible for coordinating special projects and various maintenance of Guidestar and other community websites as directed. Work with a diverse staff team to create and implement specific funds and appeals and serve as point person/on-site support for Development department volunteers and interns. Provides coordination and assistance with Development special events as necessary.

Requirements include Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.  Ideal candidate will have experience interacting with high-level donors and handling confidential information in a professional manner. Must have exceptional writing/editing skills and high degree of detail orientation, plus knowledge of Raiser’s Edge software, with the ability to manage projects often under tight deadlines. YOUTH SERVICE WORKER
Part-time positions available to fill Friday and Saturday shifts (including overnight, every other weekend) providing residential services to pregnant and parenting teens. The Youth Service Worker will coordinate and supervise household activities for teen residents and their children, and oversee facility operations during shift. High school graduate or equivalent required, BSW/Human Service course work preferred.  Previous experience in human services and knowledge of child and adolescent development preferred.  MUST be reliable and available to cover scheduled shifts. DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY LIVING SUPPORTS
Full-time position available providing leadership in all areas of management including strategic planning, policy development, budget management, staff supervision, outcome reporting and program development/implementation/oversight of the Community Living Supports (CLS) Department at CSSW. The CLS Department includes a range of programs dedicated to helping and empowering vulnerable populations to live independently in the community. The Director works with program staff at multiple sites, providing direction in their work with a diverse group of individuals and families with disabilities and special needs. Also responsible for overseeing staff in their activities across all programs, ensuring consistent operation and quality services that are provided with dignity and respect. The Director works to establish and maintain close collaborative relationships with executives from Avalon Housing, Washtenaw Housing Alliance, Washtenaw County Community Support and Treatment Services, Washtenaw Community Health Organization as well as other relevant organizations.

Requirements include a professional or advanced degree relevant to a diverse workforce that includes licensed professionals.  Master’s degree in human service field with five years’ experience in administration, or Bachelor’s degree with ten years’ experience.  Qualified candidate must have proven experience developing and overseeing budgets, creating program policies, and reporting, with demonstrated success in fund development and financial management.  Knowledge and experience with healthcare system, supportive housing issues, and community resources highly preferred.

MMAP PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Part-time position available providing county-wide representation of CSSW through participation with various groups, organizes, schedules and implements educational presentations relative to MMAP and agency programs. The Program Coordinator develops programs, trains and supervises volunteers, writes educational and public relations materials that may be provided to the community, and assists individual clients with issues of health care financing. The MMAP coordinator provides overall leadership and management for a specific local MMAP Site and provides direction and guidance to the MMAP Team Members at the MMAP site.

Minimum requirements include high school diploma, plus experience in volunteer training and supervision. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must have proven, excellent writing and communication skills, and be comfortable conducting large group presentations. Knowledge of older adult programs and available resources for older adults within the county preferred.

Full-time position available providing direct supervision of licensing and foster care workers and related department activities.  Position is responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating work performance, and resolving issues.  Requirements include Bachelor’s degree in human services field, Master’s degree preferred.  Must have working knowledge of licensing and foster care laws and policies as prescribed by the State of Michigan, CWTI training highly preferred.  Ideal candidate will have proven experience with foster care and the general field of child welfare.  Excellent communication and supervisory skills necessary.

RECEPTIONIST
Temporary, part-time position available answering busy phone system, greeting visitors, and assisting staff with general clerical tasks. Position works approximately 15-17 hours per week, shift hours Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 pm - 9 pm and one Saturday per month from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
